Artist Bio

Brenda Wilbert has been a professional artist for over twenty-years. She’s one of the past presidents of the Manchester NH, Art Association. Brenda is an expressive arts facilitator, poet and playwright. Brenda created a series of grief inspired artwork and poetry and has spoken at public events. Her medical/educational plays focus on the healing power of expressive arts for Depression, PTSD, chronic pain and environmental health. “Sing Away Pain” premiered at Red River Theatre in Concord, NH. She was the co-owner of Schoolhouse Players, a theatre company in Concord, NH which had its final curtain in 2022. The videos can be seen on Schoolhouse Players YouTube channel.

In 2024 Brenda started Heart Full of Color wearable art and accessories based on her artwork. She has a new e-commerce store at Wilbertartstudio.com. One of her clothing manufactures, Le Galeriste in Montreal, Canada, hired a professional model to wear her Claudia shawl in “Loosen” design to promote its 2024 marketing campaign.

Brenda has exhibited in galleries and art shows in NH and Ma and many other venues. She’s a member of the NH Women’s Caucus for Art and has been on the Board of the Woman’s Club of Concord representing the arts. Her digital painting “Woodwind Song” was selected for the cover of the 2024 fall journal of Touchstone, a NH Poetry Society publication. Her painting “Loosen” was chosen to be on the cover of a published poetry book by the same name.
