Sharon Boisvert is an artist who lives in southern New Hampshire.
From a young age Sharon exhibited a strong passion for the arts eventually earning a BFA from Massachusetts College of Art and Design. Her professional career encompassed graphic design, art direction, and account management. Starting a family brought changes to Sharon’s career path, but at the same time enhanced and nurtured her creative drive. Utilizing her design expertise she coordinated community art projects for local organizations, lead artistic collaborations with young artists and devoted countless hours to volunteering. Dedicated to sharing her love of the arts, Sharon continues to mentor children and adults, encouraging their artistic growth.
In 2016, a visit to a pastel exhibition reignited Sharon’s interest in painting after a long hiatus. Captivated by the medium, she purchased a set of pastels and began her journey back into the world of fine art. Through experimenting with various substrates, pastels and techniques, Sharon finds endless possibilities for exploration and growth in this medium.
She is a member of the Pastel Society of NH, Pastel Society of America, and Two Villages Art Association. Her work has been featured in juried exhibitions and has garnished numerous awards. Most recently, her painting “Fractured Light” is exhibited in the Pastel Society of America’s 2024 International juried show in New York City. The exhibit at Glimpse Gallery in Concord, NH, October 2024 marks her first group exhibition.
